Almana General Hospital in Jubail added another successful operation under its belt. A patient, was working in a factory and was injured by a drill machine. He was then taken to a clinic which performed a 3 centimeter stitching of the wound on the left eyebrow.
The patient was not able to recover, hence he was transfered to AGH Jubail for further investigation. A CT scan on the patient's head revealed a 5-cm conical metal object in the right lobe of the brain.
The patient was immediately rushed in for another operation and using a Radiology techniques the location of the object was identified. It was successfully removed from the brain without any internal bleeding or damaging any centers of movement and speech. Dr. Salah Al-Sisi, Neurological surgeon at Al-Mana Hospital in Jubail, has confirmed that the patient left the hospital and is healthy and recovering.
